Year Two: Classical Arabic
In the second year at Nueces Seminary, students deepen their Islamic studies by focusing on the mastery of Classical Arabic. They learn to translate a variety of important texts, including the renowned al-Ājurrūmiyyah, a foundational work in Arabic grammar.
This rigorous study sharpens their linguistic skills, allowing them to engage with classical Islamic literature in its original language.
Year Three: Advanced Studies
Year 3 at Nueces Seminary is designed for students who are ready to dive deeper into the complexities of Classical Arabic and Islamic scholarship. This program offers a more rigorous study of advanced Arabic texts.
Through intensive analysis and discussion, students engage with classical works, enhancing their understanding and interpretation of Islamic teachings. This year marks a pivotal point in the seminary experience, as students refine their scholarly abilities and prepare for advanced levels of Islamic study.
